1. The cleanliness of the bonding surface of the base material is not enough. The low bonding strength, poor bonding performance and air tightness of sealant are caused by insufficient surface cleanliness of base material after curing.
2. Inappropriate proportion of sealant mixing or uneven mixing. The improper mixing ratio of component A and component B of the two-component sealant and insufficient mixing will lead to uneven curing and poor bonding performance of the produced sealant. In addition, if air bubbles are mixed in the mixing process, the breakage phenomenon will easily occur in the extrusion process, which will affect the bonding performance.
3、清洗打胶设备的溶剂没有挥发干净。打胶设备一般采用溶剂进行清洗, 清洗打胶设备的溶剂如果未挥发完全,打胶时附着在密封胶的表面, 就会在密封胶与基材粘结表面形成气孔,导致密封胶与玻璃粘结不良。

4、施工和养护条件不符合工艺要求。以硅酮密封胶为例, 施工温度范围一般在5℃~40℃(具体情况参照密封胶供应商的要求), 施工温度过高或过低均会影响密封胶的性能。温度过高时施工可能造成硅酮密封胶的固化反应速度过快,产生的小分子物质来不及迁移出胶体表面而在胶体内部聚集形成气泡[图5a)] ,从而破坏胶缝的美观和性能;温度过低,硅酮密封胶的固化速度会特别慢, 固化过程显着延长。温度低于4℃时, 基材的表面容易结露或结冰、结霜等, 为粘结安全性带来很大隐患。做成中空玻璃后, 如果养护时间太短,密封胶还没有完全固化就直接接触阳光暴晒,则会出现密封胶外观颜色变化或起泡现象。
4. Construction and maintenance conditions do not meet the technological requirements. Taking silicone sealant as an example, the construction temperature range is generally 5 ~40 C (referring to the requirements of sealant suppliers in specific situations), too high or too low construction temperature will affect the performance of sealant. When the temperature is too high, the curing reaction speed of silicone sealant may be too fast, and the small molecule substances generated can not migrate out of the colloid surface and form bubbles in the colloid [Fig. 5a], thus destroying the beauty and performance of the seam. When the temperature is too low, the curing speed of silicone sealant will be particularly slow and the curing process will be significantly prolonged. When the temperature is lower than 4 C, the surface of the substrate is easy to dew or freeze, frost and so on, which brings great hidden danger to the bonding safety. After making hollow glass, if the curing time is too short and the sealant is not fully cured, it will be exposed to the sun directly, then the appearance of the sealant will change color or foam.
